Earth Day is just around the corner (22nd April) and it is a great opportunity to reflect on the state of our planet and what we can do to make a positive impact. As a responsible and conscious business owner, I am proud to work with organizations like Ecologi and Diamonds for Peace to promote sustainability and ethical practices.

Ecologi is a platform that allows businesses and individuals to offset their carbon footprint by supporting carbon-reducing projects worldwide. This helps to combat climate change and supports the transition to a more sustainable future. As a company, I have partnered with Ecologi to become a climate positive workforce. This means that I have offset 27.01 tonnes of carbon to date. I encourage everyone to take similar steps to help reduce their impact on the environment and promote sustainability. this is just one step in a long chain, but every step helps. stilling back and doing nothing isn't an option, we have to make sure we are ding our bit and always looking for ways to improve.

I also with Diamonds for Peace, an organization that promotes ethical practices in the diamond industry.

Diamonds for Peace is a non-profit organization that promotes ethical and sustainable practices in the diamond industry. They work to raise awareness about issues such as human rights abuses, environmental damage, and economic inequality in diamond mining communities. Their goal is to promote a more responsible and sustainable diamond industry that benefits everyone involved, from the miners to the consumers. They work with stakeholders across the supply chain to develop and implement ethical and sustainable practices, and they advocate for transparency and accountability in the diamond industry. Diamonds for Peace also provides support and resources to diamond mining communities to help them build more sustainable and equitable livelihoods.

I believe that it is essential to promote responsible and sustainable practices throughout the entire supply chain.

I also take pride in our sustainable practices in our jewellery workshop (Brighton Jewellery Collective) . We strive to minimize our impact on the environment. By prioritizing sustainability in every aspect of our businesses, we are doing our part to protect the planet.

Earth Day is an important reminder that we all have a responsibility to protect the planet and promote sustainability. As a business owner, I am committed to promoting ethical and sustainable practices in my industry and working towards a more sustainable future. By partnering with organizations like Ecologi and Diamonds for Peace, we can make a positive impact on the environment and inspire others to do the same. Let's work together to protect our planet and ensure a sustainable future for all.
