Brighton & Hove is full of incredible creatives, individuals and independant business whose work holds that sense of intention, and this year I wanted to gather a small selection of makers, experiences and treats that celebrate the spirit of our city. And that are very much on my own Christmas Wish list.
Each one offers something heartfelt, gifts or expereinse that last, that enrich, gifts that tell a story, gifts that uplift. I hope this guide inspires you to explore the wonderful individuals and businesses we’re lucky to have right here on our doorstep.

Shiv Textiles
Website: www.shivtextiles.co.uk
Shiv Textiles brings together craft, colour and a commitment to reducing waste. Everything is woven using rescued deadstock yarns, turning what would have been discarded into something cherished. As Shiv explains:
From cushions and throws to scarves and weaving kits, there’s something deeply heartfelt about gifting a piece that has been saved, reimagined and handmade in Brighton. And don't foget her vouchrs for weaving workshops too.
Mathew Paul Jinks
Website: www.mathewpauljinks.com
Mathew’s ceramics makes wonderful gifts for anyone who loves something a little unconventional, something that sparks joy the moment you unwrap it. Oh how about a gift voucher for a throwing workshop (yes please!)
Lucy Sherston
Website: www.lucysherston.com
Lucy is a Brighton-based artist and illustrator “My work lies at the intersection between abstract and figurative, often taking the form of digital collage.” Lucy Sherston, About Page
Her prints make thoughtful gifts for anyone who treasures art that brings warmth to a wall. There’s a gentle dreaminess in her compositions that feels right at home in a Brighton Christmas gift guide.
Beach Box Sauna
Website: www.beachboxspa.co.uk
For the person who loves experiences over things, a gift voucher for Beach Box is such a lovely gesture. A sauna by the sea feels grounding, memorable and nourishing, a beautiful way to rest during the winter months. It’s the kind of gift that lingers long after the day itself: warmth, community, sea air, and a moment to pause.
Relaxation Rooms
Website: www.relaxationzones.com
Sometimes the most thoughtful gift is simply space to relax and breathe. A voucher for a massage or treatment at Relaxation Rooms offers exactly that. It’s a gentle invitation to unwind, slow down, and step away from the rush, something I think many of us quietly hope for at this time of year. And i can not recommened Supa enough.
Audureys Chocolates
Website: www.audreyschocolates.co.uk
Handmade chocolates are a classic gift for a reason, and Audureys take it to another level with their rich flavours and beautifully crafted pieces. A small box makes the perfect stocking filler, and a larger selection is a wonderful way to add a little luxury to the festive season.
Rebekah Ann Jewellery
A jewellery voucher offers the chance to create something deeply personal, a piece shaped by story, memory, and meaning. It means that a group can come together to gift somthing meaningful. I love that a voucher becomes the start of a conversation, a design journey we take together, crafting something to be worn and treasured for years. It’s a beautiful gift for someone who values connection and craft. I have physcial and digital vouchers avilabl and they can be used for 18 months.
Supporting independents keeps Brighton’s creative and collabrative spirit alive. It sustains workshops, studios, small shops, and the countless hands behind them. It turns gifting into something mindful and meaningful, not rushed or mass-produced, but personal and full of story.
xx
