Visiting Brighton or Hove you’re truly spoilt for choice for places to enjoy food. From elegant dinners to cosy breakfasts and casual lunches. So if joining me for a consultation or collecting your finished jewellery I would highly recommended going have having a lovely couple of hours to enjoy some delicious food together and get excited about what comes next!

★ Burnt Orange
Cosy and stylish inside, with a beautiful courtyard that’s magical in the warmer months. The seasonal menu is always thoughtful and delicious, perfect if you want a refined meal out and a moment to treat yourself.
Ideal for: Elegant lunches, intimate dinners, or a special treatWebsite
★ Market Tapas and Wine
One of my go-to spots for relaxed vibes and good food with friends. I’ve enjoyed both dreamy Christmas-Eve dinners and laid-back afternoon meals here. It’s warm, welcoming, and perfect for a cosy catch-up.
Ideal for: Sharing small plates with friends or a leisurely afternoonWebsite
★ Trading Post Coffee
A breakfast haven that feels like a treat every time. Their pancakes with a coconut cappuccino? A winning combination for me. It can get busy, so visiting outside peak times is best.
Ideal for: Breakfast lovers, brunch dates, or a slow morning indulgenceWebsite
★ Hidden-Gem Cafés Worth a Visit
Cafe Rust (Preston Park area)Tucked away from the tourist bustle, this café exudes rustic charm with soft lighting and a relaxed vibe. Perfect for brunch, coffee and cake, or a quiet lunch.Website
Starfish & Coffee (near Queen’s Park) Friendly spot with generous breakfasts, brunch spreads, and a cosy atmosphere, ideal for a slow weekend start or casual midday break.Website
Real patisserie Why not have a picnic in one of the many squares on one Brighton beach. real would be my go to to pick up delicious food. From breakfast treats to lunchtime delights. Or a little treat to take home or enjoy back at your hotel room.
★ Sunday Roast & Classic Comfort
If you’re after a proper Sunday roast in Brighton or Hove, The Shakespeare’s Head is a favourite of mine, cosy atmosphere, hearty portions, and all the charm of a traditional pub meal. That said, Sunday roasts fill up fast, so I’d recommend booking ahead.
Ideal for: Traditional Sunday lunches with friends or family
A Note on These Recommendations
I’m in no way affiliated with any of the cafés or restaurants above, these are simply places I love visiting or others have recommended to me, for their food, atmosphere, and warmth. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do, and that they inspire you to explore more of Brighton’s vibrant food scene.
