Some of the most special pieces I get to make start with something already loved.
A ring passed down through a family. A chain that belonged to someone no longer here. A pile of pieces sitting in a box, unworn for years — full of memories, but no longer being lived in.
Bringing those materials into something new, something you’ll wear every single day, is one of the most meaningful things I do. And honestly, it never gets old.
WHAT HEIRLOOM & REMODEL WORK LOOKS LIKE
Every remodel is completely different, because every piece of jewellery that comes to me has its own story. But here are some of the ways we can work together:
Full remodel: your existing jewellery, completely transformed into something new. The metal melted down, the stones reset, a whole new design created just for you.
Partial remodel: using elements of what you have, a stone, a detail, a piece of gold , woven into a new design alongside new materials.
Adding to what you have: sometimes it’s not about starting again. Sometimes it’s about adding to something, evolving it, giving it a new chapter. Like my own past, present and future ring, my wedding ring, transformed rather than removed.

A LITTLE HONESTY ABOUT HEIRLOOM WORK
I want to be upfront about something, because I think it matters.
Bringing your own gold and stones into a piece can sometimes mean a more accessible starting point, and that’s a lovely thing. But heirloom work isn’t a straightforward way to reduce the cost of a commission.
Here’s why. Before I ever pick up a tool to make something new, there’s a whole process of preparing what you’ve brought me. Refining and preparing it so it’s in a workable state. Assessing stones to see if they’re suitable for re-setting, and what that process involves. It takes time, skill and care, and that work happens before the making even begins.
So while your material costs may be lower, this isn’t always reflected in the overall price. What it is reflected in is the care taken to honour what you’ve brought me. And the story it carries.
To get started, I ask that your budget begins from £1,500 for remodel work. This isn’t a minimum spend, it’s about making sure we have the room to do something really beautiful with what you’ve got.
